This highly interactive programme aims to highlight the potential fault line of racial and religious relations in Singapore and therefore, the importance of maintaining racial harmony in our everyday lives.
The Racial Harmony Assembly Programme highlights Singapore's multicultural and inclusive society by addressing current social issues and developments related to racial and religious harmony. This facilitated session encourages students to engage in meaningful conversations about these topics and consider how their everyday actions can contribute to preserving racial harmony. Singapore Discovery Centre is managed by Defence Collective Singapore.
Objectives:
1. Increase awareness of the fragility of Singapore’s racial and religious relations.
2. Pledge how we can contribute to build a cohesive united Singapore regardless of race, language, or religion.
Target Audience: Pri 3 to 6 students, Sec 1 to 4/5 students, Post-Sec (JC/Poly/ITE)
