The Sustainability Youth Festival
The Sustainability Youth Festival (TSYF) is designed to be a platform for youths to learn about sustainability issues in an accessible and engaging way. It offers a space that aims to break down the barriers to understanding sustainability as a topic through hands-on activities, and for youths to network and learn from professionals in the sector who are passionate about making a difference.
At the core of the festival is the TSYF Challenge, where youth teams will be given the opportunity to pitch their innovative projects and win awards and funding, bringing their ideas to life in schools and communities.

Teams should include Design Thinking elements in their proposals. Winning teams will receive funding to implement their projects. This Category is open to the Secondary School division and the Post-Secondary (JC/Poly/ITE/University) division. Find out more here: https://www.tsyf.sg/changemaker

Creator Category: The TSYF Challenge Creator category gives primary school students a platform to design engaging and interactive booth activities that communicate impactful sustainability messages. Selected student teams will be provided a booth space at TSYF 2026 on 15th May 2026. This category is only open to the Primary School division. Find out more here: https://www.tsyf.sg/creator
Learning Objectives: Students will learn about Singapore's sustainability challenges and the diverse approaches taken to overcome them, all of which will be aligned with the SG Green Plan. They will have the opportunity to observe real-world applications and engage with stakeholders (government agencies, youth-led ground-ups, organisations), fostering a deeper understanding of the issues at hand and inspiring them to contribute to a more sustainable future.
