With generative A.I. and search engines being so prevalent, this workshop aims to equip students with the essential skills to conduct academic research more efficiently while citing from credible sources and databases from NLB's range of digital resources.

This programme can be conducted either physically or digitally. Participants are recommended to have their smartphones or PLDs as they will be engaged with interactive activities conducted via the Kahoot! platform.

Learning Objectives

Students will learn how to craft a reseach scope by analysing a topic statement, understand the pros and cons of utilising A.I. platforms like ChatGPT, and improve the credibility of citations with NLB's range of academic databases.

Target Audience: Secondary 1 - 4/5 students, Post-Secondary (JC/Poly/ITE)
