Children's Museum Singapore: Hyde Goes To The Museum

Children’s Museum Singapore is delighted to offer a complimentary assembly programme designed to enrich your students’ understanding of Singapore’s culture and heritage in a fun and engaging way. An ordinary school learning journey to the museum soon turns extraordinary when Hyde time travels back into the 1960s where some street hawkers need help. Watch as your students become part of history in a live enactment inspired by an oil painting "Here they come!' by Koeh Sia Yong.

Learning Objectives: Aligned with the Social Studies curriculum, this interactive programme explores Singapore’s history through the eyes of early immigrants who served as street hawkers. Additionally, students will discover the bustling Singapore River as a trading port, where diverse communities came together.
