Conducted by Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) This programme supports Science (adaptation, ecosystems and biodiversity) and Geography (environmental systems) by introducing biomimicry and how natural systems inform sustainability solutions. It aligns with NE by building awareness of Singapore’s biodiversity and strengthening appreciation for conservation efforts through scientific understanding.

Details

The programme is conducted as a facilitated workshop incorporating guided discussions and hands-on activities. Students explore concepts of adaptation and biomimicry through examples and structured learning tasks.

Learning Objectives

Students will be able to:

• Explain how organisms adapt to their environments

• Apply biological concepts to sustainability challenges

• Relate ecosystem interactions to real-world solutions
