4Sights (Dialogue in the Dark Singapore)

Through a series of experiential and interactive activities led by our blind facilitators, students will learn more about how the blind engage with and navigate the world around them. In doing so, they will gain valuable lessons on inclusion, empathy, and kindness.

The programme is conducted in a safe environment at Dialogue in the Dark Singapore, led by by blind guides with the help of sighted assistants.

Learning Objectives

Participants will:

  • Develop awareness of and empathy for the blind community.

  • Find out about how the blind use assistive technology and the Braille alphabet.

  • Learn how to assist a vision-impaired individual and encouraged to be kind and helpful to others in need.

Target Audience: Primary 1 and 2 students

Runtime: All year round

Fee: $25 ($27.25 after GST) per student. Price is subject to changes.

Modality: In-person

Duration of Session: 1.5 hours

Capacity: Minimum 20 students

Learning some Braille

I want to thank all of you for a smooth programme and an enjoyable visit to DiD. All your staff were energetic and very interactive with the children.
