Sign up for Friends of Singa Workshop, where students learn the fundamentals of project management and gain the skills to kickstart student-led kindness campaigns in schools and beyond the school environment.

Students will learn that kindness involves both caring for others and taking meaningful action, students will explore the SINGA framework (Start With kindness, In their shoes, Now we brainstorm, Gather your thoughts, Appreciate others) to design kindness projects and create personal commitment statements outlining daily kindness practices they will implement beyond the classroom.

Students will attend a one-time FOS workshop in Term 1 to learn the basics of project management. The workshop is optional.

By the end of the workshop, students will be able to:

• Understand that kindness involves both caring for others and taking meaningful action.

• Apply design thinking concept to empathise, define and brainstorm kindness projects that address the needs of those around them.

Apply the SINGA framework to lead meaningful FOS projects.

Target Audience: Pri 1 -6 students

Runtime: January - August

Fee: Complimentary for Friends of Singa Schools

Modality: The in-person workshop will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
