Strolling through the historic Fort Canning Park, Singapore River, and exploring iconic landmarks like the Fullerton Hotel and Clifford Pier, you will be transported to a time when seafarers, traders, and explorers shaped out island’s destiny. Join us for an immersive journey into our maritime legacy, where tales of adventure and trade come to life with each step!

This full walking trail will bring participants through landmarks such as the Fort Canning Archaeological Site, Maritime Corner @ Fort Canning, Singapore River, Fullerton Hotel, Waterboat House and Clifford Pier.

Learning Objectives

This programme allows participants to:

1. Explore historical landmarks: Participants will discover and visit key historical landmarks, gaining a deeper understanding of their maritime significance.

2. Uncover early maritime history: Participants will gain insights into Singapore’s early maritime history, including the arrival of seafarers, traders, and explorers, and their contributions to shaping the island’s destiny as a maritime hub.

3. Appreciate our maritime legacy: Participants will develop a deeper appreciation for Singapore’s maritime legacy and its continued relevance in the modern era, connecting the past to the present and future of the island’s maritime industry.

4. A fun and educational experience: Participants will get to enjoy a captivating and enjoyable experience as they witness history come alive through engaging narratives and interactive exploration.
