Details
This programme leverages high quality short films to facilitate the discussion and exploration of contemporary issues relevant to the current national landscape. These student-produced films are part of an annual collaboration between Singapore Discovery Centre and local polytechnics. There are various film titles to choose from and they can be classified into different categories – defence and security, racial harmony, globalization, inclusivity and familial ties. Do write in for more details about the film choices. Singapore Discovery Centre is managed by Defence Collective Singapore.
Objectives:
1. Appreciate local youth productions and how they can be an effective medium to discuss contemporary issues in Singapore.
2. Reflect on how one can contribute to Singapore’s future.
Target Audience: Sec 1 to 4/5 students, Post-Sec (JC/Poly/ITE)
