Celebrating Hari Raya Information Banners
In Singapore and Malaysia, Hari Raya Aidilfitri is also known as Hari Raya Puasa and it is the most celebrated Muslim festival here. This set of pull up banners highlights the key features of Hari Raya for teachers to loan and display as part of the school’s celebrations. A set of props featuring a tray of fabricated Malay kuih, a tablemat and a photo album is also include to enhance the festive atmosphere and enrich student’s learning.
Available in English and for loan to schools on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Details
Teachers can display the set of banners in the canteen and work with NE Ambassadors or Student leaders to facilitate sharing during recess or as part of the school celebration.
Learning Objectives
Students will be able to learn more about the customs and traditions of the Malay Muslim community in Singapore and appreciate the cultural diversity in Singapore.
