Food Security: Feeding a Nation
A series of 4 explainer videos on the history of food security in Singapore. Features key episodes in Singapore’s national security history and draws out contemporary implications for today. It educates students on the different challenges that impact Singapore’s national security. Altogether, the 15-minute series explores and explains the development of Singapore’s food security policies, to show how Singapore has been able to successfully manage and transform its food farming industry since independence. The link to the videos will be sent over after SFA receives your sign-up form. Some suggested quiz questions are also available to help teachers make the experience more engaging. SFA may be able to provide simple tokens as quiz prizes free-of-charge.
