HDB Sustainability Trails
The HDB Sustainability Trails offer an immersive experience for students, allowing them to discover the various green initiatives and sustainability features aimed at promoting sustainable living in HDB heartlands. Under the programme, students and teachers could also sign up to be an Eco Guide and undergo training to lead the trails for their peers/ students and the wider community.
Details
Students could participate in a 2-hour guided trails or sign up to be an Eco Guide.
The training for Eco Guide includes a 2-hour classroom training, followed by another 2 hours of on-site training, conducted on separate days. Upon completing the training, students are empowered to organise trails for their peers and/or the community.

Learning Objectives:
Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the transformation of Punggol and the efforts made to enable sustainable living, thereby inspiring them to do their part for the environment and adopting a green lifestyle.
Target Audience: Pri 4 to 6, Sec 1 to 4/5, Post-Sec (JC/Poly/ITE)
Runtime: All year round
Fee: Complimentary
Modality: In-person
Duration of Session: Average 2 hours per session. Number of sessions would vary, depending on preferred involvement (i.e. whether students are signing up as Eco Guides)
Programme Capacity: 20 minimum pax per session
