LTA: Transport Ambassador Programme

The Transport Ambassador Programme (TAP) is a 3-part series designed to encourage students to embark on eco-friendly transport habits. Consisting of the assembly shows, roving exhibition and Green Commutes Challenge, schools are required to participate in all 3 programmes under TAP. Doing so qualifies for the School Green Awards by the Singapore Environment Council. Top performing schools in reducing car trips will also be recognised with a special achievement award.

Assembly Show: Learn about sustainability and green commutes and contribute to our environment!
Roving Showcase: Choose from either one of the two themes below: - Sustainability and Green Commutes- Friendly Streets
Green Commutes Challenge: Students will apply what they have learnt by embarking on a 10-day challenge to travel to school via car-lite modes (Walk, Cycle, Ride public transport)!
Learning Objectives: Learn more about the impact of climate change and how green commutes can make difference to mitigate the impact of climate change Embark on green commutes to reduce their carbon footprint and make a positive change to the environment
Target Audience: Pri 1 to 6 students

- Assembly Show: 30 mins
- Roving Exhibition (Exhibition panels can be loaned for up to 1 week)
- Green Commutes Challenge: 10 Days
