Defence Collective Singapore: International Students and Permanent Residents Programme
Help students explore Singapore's multicultural society through hands-on activities in food, games, and culture. Register by email at least three weeks in advance.
This programme helps students understand Singapore’s multicultural society through fun, hands-on activities. They will experience local customs in an interactive way that builds empathy and appreciation for the different cultures around them. Through their visit to SDC’s Permanent Exhibit Gallery, students will also develop a stronger sense of belonging by discovering the shared values that unite us as Singaporeans.

This programme entails the following segments: Introduction - 10 mins, Multiculturalism In Food - 1 hr, Multiculturalism in Games - 1 hr, Conclusion and Key Takeaway - 35 mins
Learning Objectives:
Understand Integration: Increase awareness of Singapore’s multicultural society and explore cultural diversity through hands-on activities.
Empathy Skills: Experience Singaporean customs and way of life through interactive cultural activities.
Sense of Belonging: Foster a sense of appreciation for Singapore’s shared values through SDC’s Permanent Exhibit Gallery.
