Moot Parliament

Be the Speaker, Prime Minister or Leader of the Opposition for a day! Our programme will take students through a debate on a Bill in a specially created Moot Parliament Chamber. It is designed to allow students to have fun debating and learning about some parliamentary procedures.

Details

Students will be brought on a 1-hour tour followed by a roleplaying session on parliamentary proceeedings.

Learning Objectives: To de-mystify Parliament House by learning about the history, the people and how law-making works in singapore.

Target Audience: Sec 3 to 4/5, Post-Sec (JC/Poly/ITE)

Runtime: All year round

Fee: Complimentary

Modality: In-person

Duration of Session: 2 hours

Programme Capacity: 20 pax minimum; 30 pax maximum.
