School-Station Partnership Programme

Give your students a lasting presence in the community – and your school a home beyond its walls.

LTA's School-Station Partnership Programme pairs your school with a specific MRT station, where students' festive-themed works are displayed and experienced by thousands of commuters daily during Singapore's major festive occasions – Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, National Day, Deepavali, and Christmas. Unlike a one-off activation, this is a long-term partnership that grows in value over time – giving students a genuine sense of ownership over a familiar community space and building a visible, lasting presence for your school.

For teachers, the programme is designed to be flexible and low effort. Schools choose a minimum of two festive occasions per year to participate in, with no prescription on what students create – whether visual art, craft, cultural booths, or performance. Students lead the creative response, supported by LTA, with teachers invited to be part of the process to ensure the final results reflect their students’ and schools’ intent. Learning Objectives

Students will:

• Develop design thinking, problem solving, and social studies competencies through real-world creative briefs

• Build confidence and pride by contributing positively to the community through cultural sharing, supporting their 21st Century Competencies development

• Build a portfolio of public work and a lasting sense of ownership of a familiar community space

• Experience the impact of their work on a public stage, with full school credit and recognition on LTA's platforms

Target Audience: Primary, Secondary and SPED schools

Runtime: During the following festive periods

·       Deepavali – Between 8 Oct to 11 Nov 2026

·       Christmas – Between 30 Nov to 3 Jan 2027

·       Chinese New Year – Between 22 Jan 2026 to 20 Feb 2027

·       Hari Raya – Between 4 Mar to 7 Apr 2027

·       National Day – Between 21 Jul – 31 Aug 2027

·       Deepavali – Between 1 Oct – 4 Nov 2027

·       Christmas – Between 30 Nov – 3 Jan 2028

Venue Fee: Complimentary

Minimum Commitment: 2 festive activations per year
