“A Day in Court” student seminar
The “A Day in Court” (ADIC) student seminar is an annual half-day programme for Secondary 3 students held at the State Courts.
The programme is designed to give students a better understanding of the role of the State Courts and the court procedures. Students will also be introduced to topics such as harassment or (cyber) bullying, and what they can do if they or their friends encounter such incidents.
Details
The programme begins with an overview of the criminal justice process. The seminar focuses on harassment with particular emphasis given to cyberbullying to enable students to draw parallels to commonplace occurrences in the online space.
