Caring SG Commuters Movement: Fostering a Gracious, Caring & Inclusive Commuting Culture

Commuting is part of our daily lives, whether going to school, work, or home. The Caring SG Commuters Movement, launched in 2017, aims to make public transport more gracious, caring, and inclusive for everyone. Students can learn to support vulnerable commuters and become advocates for a more inclusive commuting culture.
Council for Third Age (C3A)

The Intergenerational Learning Programme (ILP) is an initiative by the Council for Third Age (C3A) and is part of the National Silver Academy (NSA). ILP aims to forge intergenerational solidarity between the young and the old to create a more cohesive and gracious society, promote active living, and enhance mental and social well-being among seniors.
Friends of Our Heartlands Network

HDB’s Friends of Our Heartlands Network nurtures change makers within our towns and neighbourhoods. Volunteers will receive training and opportunities to channel their skills, knowledge, and resources for the benefit of their community. Students will learn to appreciate their living environment, practise neighbourliness, adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle and become role models for gracious living in the heartlands.
HDB Sustainability Trails

The HDB Sustainability Trails offer an immersive experience for students, allowing them to discover the various green initiatives and sustainability features aimed at promoting sustainable living in HDB heartlands. Under the programme, students and teachers could also sign up to be an Eco Guide and undergo training to lead the trails for their peers/ students and the wider community.

Resilience Trails (Skillseed)

Resilience Trails is Skillseed's place-based, community-led initiative offering flexible, well-paid, home-based work to lower-income families via paid trails in Community Guides' own neighbourhoods. Beyond boosting earnings, it gives Guides a platform to voice their stories and strengths, promoting their agency and dignity. Participants gain empathy for vulnerable communities' lived experiences, while the trails connect local assets, sparking community collaboration.
SE-YA! Onboarding Camp

The South East Youth Ambassadors (SE-YA!) Onboarding Camp opens doors to exciting volunteering opportunities in the South East community. This 3D2N experience lets you explore various community service initiatives in a relaxed and friendly environment. Volunteer for environmental and animal causes while building meaningful friendships.
Seed Kindness Fund

The Seed Kindness Fund (SKF) supports kindness community projects by youths aged 13–26, funding up to $1,000 per project (60% upon approval, 40% on completion) to promote a more gracious society. Students can pursue their own ideas or take up partner project briefs from agencies including NLB, Cyber Security Agency, NCSS, LTA, Media Literacy Council, MOM, MCCY, HDB, and FairPrice.
SERVICE-LEARNING CHAMPION (SLC)
