Details
Students will embark on a self-directed game-based outdoor trail and role-play as investigators on a mission to foil a bomb threat by deciphering clues and visiting four to six different historic sites that are suspected of being the possible location of the soon-to-happen bomb blast. The sites include, but are not limited to, Padang, Central Fire Station and Cenotaph. Using the clues obtained at each site, students will learn about Singapore’s defence history and the complex nature of modern security threats that demands citizens to play a more active role.
Objectives:
1. Appreciate the evolving nature of security threats and understand how everyone has a part to play in defending Singapore.
2. Learn about Singapore’s history from a defence-centric perspective.
Target Audience: Sec 1 to 4/5 students, Post-Sec (JC/Poly/ITE)
