Using a blended approach of facilitated discussions, soft copy handouts and multi-media formats, students will understand key points of Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre’s exhibition, “SINGAPO人: Discovering Singapore Chinese Culture”. Complete the guided tour with a hands-on segment where students can express their creativity and originality through craft-making or activity sheets. This programme is held over Zoom and is also suitable for home-based learning. It is available on weekdays from 9am to 5pm.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
- Learn about our distinctive Singapore Chinese culture
- Experience a new way of learning out of the classroom
- Acquire critical thinking skills
- Be inspired to discover their identity, and the impact of their relationships and choices
- Make meaning from what they observe and apply to the hands-on activity
Target Audience: Primary 1- P6 students, Secondary 1- 4/5 students, Post Secondary (JC/ Poly/ ITE)
